Proper Parrot Nutrition

Before taking your new bird home, please research the proper nutrition your parrot species needs. We suggest all parrots should have constant access to high quality pellets. It is best to provide the amount of pellets they eat in a day, so they can have new, fresh pellets each morning. Pellets can become stale and go bad if left in their dish too long. Parrot seed do have essential fats and oils, and still should be a small part of their daily diet. The best parrot nutrition consists of fresh fruit and veggies daily with daily pellets and seed. Please ask us about our "parrot chop" that you can easily make at home.
